The Power Symphony band was founded in 1994 by vocalist Michaela D'Orlando and guitarist Marco Zekkoni. In 1995, the group recorded their first demo, which was well received by Italian metal magazines. In November 1998, the band signed to Northwind Records and in April 1999 released their debut album Evillot.
In September 1999, the musicians signed a contract with Pavement Music, and in April 2000 they released their second album, dubbed “Lightbringer”. The album received good reviews from Metal Hammer Israel, Metal Shock Italy, and Flash Italy.
In 2001, the band left Pavement Music and founded their own label Evillot Records. In 2003, Power Symphony independently released the EP “Futurepast” containing 5 tracks - two new songs, a cover version of Manowar’s song “Blood of my Enemies”, and updated versions of two songs from the first demo.
In December 2004, two new songs and a video clip for the song “Crown of Thorns” were posted on the band’s website for free download. In addition, the musicians reported that the third full-length album, working title “Mother Darkess”, is being prepared for release.
